Sophia Alvarado

Volleyball has always been a big part of Sophia's life. She has been playing for almost 10 years, since elementary school, through high school, and has played a season for Crush. 

At Pitman, her teams have accomplished CCAL championships every year of her playing. This year, she is on to playing volleyball at Merced College. She is very much enjoying her time there as a blue devil. Sophia has had coaching experience since she was in high school. She has spent her time coaching crush clinics for all ages every summer since. 

Sophia plans to transfer to a 4 year college next year to get her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and to ultimately reach her goal of becoming an RN. She has always loved working with kids and now she is very excited to take on this role as assistant coach!
