A Division I volleyball player at the University of Wyoming where she was a four-year starter and helped the Cowgirls to two NCAA appearances including an elite 8 (Cinderella) finish with wins over highly ranked University of Washington and Stanford University in her junior year. Erin followed up her senior year with another NCAA tournament appearance and was awarded the team Most Valuable Player and Most Inspirational Player awards. She was later inducted into the University of Wyoming Hall of Fame.
As a volleyball coach Erin has worked across multiple ages starting at middle school, several club organizations and at the high school level with tremendous success and player development. Erin is very proud to have six former players playing at the Division 1 collegiate level.Most recently, Tessa Dodd, a 2025 second team AVCA All-American selection who just signed letter of intent with University of Kansas. Also, several former players at the D-2 and JC level continuing their playing careers.
Following a stint at Dixie High School in Saint George, Utah where she took two teams deep into the state 4A tournament, she returned to Wyoming to coach at Laramie High School.In her four seasons there she helped Laramie to final 4 appearances in each of those seasons. They included a State Championship, 2nd place finish and two 3rd place finishes. She was back-to-back regional coach of the year in 2024 and 2025. Her record during those 2 seasons was 66-6.
