Taylor Vannest

15-1 Assistant Coach

Taylor started her volleyball journey with Crush, where she played for 7 seasons. She also played for Pitman High School for 4 years. During her time at Pitman, she competed with her team to win 2 CCAL Championships. Her senior year she was selected as CCAL Offensive Player of the Year, CCAL First Team All-League Middle Blocker, and served her team as a Co-Captain. Taylor was recruited to play at Cuesta College, where she began her collegiate career and played 2 indoor seasons and 1 beach season for the Cougars. At Cuesta, Taylor was an integral part of the team as she played Middle Blocker, Setter, Opposite, and served as the team Captain. Additionally, she wrote letters to Cuesta Colleges administration and athletic director, leading the charge for an official Beach Volleyball program. Due to her efforts, Cuesta participated in their first season of beach volleyball in the Western State Conference. She was awarded All League Honors both years. Currently, Taylor is attending CSU Stanislaus to pursue a career in Nursing.


Taylor hopes to share the knowledge she has gained from her past Crush and Pitman coaches, as well as from her experiences as a collegiate volleyball player.
