Ari Amini

17-1 Head Coach

Ari Amini was born and raised in the Bay Area, in Martinez, California. He is half Puerto Rican and half Iranian (both being huge on volleyball). He has played beach volleyball all his life and began playing indoor in 2009 at Alhambra High School. He then attended UC Irvine to earn a degree in Quantitative Economics, while playing Intramural Volleyball. He returned to the Bay Area after graduating in 2013 and began coaching Varsity at Alhambra High School and club at Diablo Valley Volleyball Club.

He coached at Alhambra High school for 5 years, leading his team to several NCS Championships. His teams also made history, in being the first Alhambra team to make it to state 2 years in a row. He coached for Diablo Valley Volleyball Club for 4 years coaching 14s, 15s and 16s. He moved to Turlock last year starting as a Math Teacher in Modesto and coaching with Crush as the 17-1 assistant coach.

Ari will be taking over as the 17-1 head coach, and we are very excited that he just accepted a full time position at Pitman as a Math teacher and the JV head volleyball coach.
