Ari Amini

14 - 1 Head Coach

Ari Amini was born and raised in the Bay Area, in Martinez, California. He is half Puerto Rican and half Iranian (both being huge on volleyball). He has played beach volleyball all his life and began playing indoor in 2009 at Alhambra High School. He then attended UC Irvine to earn a degree in Quantitative Economics, while playing Intramural Volleyball. He returned to the Bay Area after graduating in 2013 and began assisting/coaching Varsity at Alhambra High School and club at Diablo Valley Volleyball Club.

He coached at Alhambra High school for 5 years, helping his team to several NCS Championships. His teams also made history, in being the first Alhambra team to make it to state 2 years in a row. He coached for Diablo Valley Volleyball Club for 4 years coaching 14s, 15s and 16s. 

He now coaches Varsity Volleyball at Pitman High School. He is also a full time Math teacher at Pitman High School. 

He is also a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Stan State Volleyball (D2 Volleyball).

Ari has been coaching for Crush for 2 years now and is also a member of the Turlock Crush Board.

Ari 's 2023 Turlock Crush 17-1s team earned a Bid to Nationals
