14-2 Head Coach
Alexis Williams has been deeply involved in volleyball throughout her life. Her parents met while playing volleyball, and she grew up in a household passionate about the sport, with her father coaching high school volleyball and managing a club. Alexis began playing travel volleyball at the age of 9. As she matured, her passion for volleyball and her competitiveness increased. During high school, she played varsity volleyball for four years.
Upon graduating from high school, she continued her volleyball career by playing for one year at Modesto Junior College. Shortly after completing her season, Alexis developed an interest in coaching. She began by coaching 3rd and 4th graders at her elementary school and later progressed to coaching travel volleyball. Initially, she served as an assistant coach at Pulse. Following a brief hiatus, she coached freshman volleyball at Hughson High School for a year before returning to Pulse, where she coached two teams.
Subsequently, several of her coaching colleagues transitioned to Rage, and Alexis joined them for special training sessions with John Dunning. Over the next four years, she primarily coached 8th graders, freshmen, and sophomores (14s-16s) at Rage. After taking a couple of years off to focus on motherhood, Alexis returned to coaching by assisting her father at Livingston High School, working with both the Freshman and Varsity teams. She is currently the Head Freshman Coach at Livingston High School.
