Stacie Macias

14 - 1 Assistant Coach

Stacie Macias is a Turlock native. She was a standout athlete for Turlock High School, lettering

in volleyball, basketball, and track; as well as a dancer for 20 years. She continued her athletic

career with a dual scholarship in volleyball and track at California State University,

Stanislaus. Stacie has a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Physical Education.

Stacie has a passion for working with youth and developing athletes for success beyond the

court or field by teaching discipline and work ethic, building leadership skills, and challenging

students and athletes to be purpose driven, creating the best version of themselves. She has

been an elementary teacher for 16 years and has over 20 years experience in coaching

volleyball at all levels, from toddlers to the collegiate level.


Stacie started her coaching career at a young age, coaching for various volleyball camps/clinics and schools, including Stan State camps 2001-2005, 2007-2010 and Nike Volleyball Camps 2003-2010. She was head junior varsity volleyball coach at Turlock High in 2005, head varsity coach at Central Valley High in 2006, assistant coach at CSU, Stanislaus 2007-2010, and the last 3 years coaching at Dutcher Middle School.


At the club level, Stacie has helped with Velocity Volleyball

Club, was head coach for Valli Girls 15s 2006-2007, head coach for Impact

Volleyball Club’s 18s 2008-2012, and head coach for 11s, 12s, 13s, 17s, and 18s over the last 5 years at Rage Volleyball Club, earning 2 bids to Nationals.


Stacie is married to fellow volleyball coach Roberto Macias.  They have 3 incredible children; Isabella (13), Damian (10), Julian (7) and she is looking forward to new opportunities to help the community at Turlock Crush.
