Kayla Battles

Kayla was raised in Turlock, CA where she attended Pitman High School and played volleyball all four years going back and forth from libero and defensive specialist and played as a setter for her Stanislaus District Volleyball All-Star Game. During her high school career, she contributed to 2 league titles and was named Best Defensive her freshman year and Most Inspirational her senior year. She played for Turlock Crush for 2 years coached under Dave Pontes. Kayla is currently in her second year of college at Merced College studying to be a Pediatric Physical Therapist while also playing for their volleyball team. Kayla has coached for Pitman High schools JV team going undefeated her first season coaching and can’t wait to coach the younger girls and share her passion and knowledge with them!
