Ellison Weaver

14-1 Assistant Coach

Ellison has been playing volleyball since she was 9 years old. She Played for Uintah Basin Volleyball Club in Utah from ages 10-16, and Club V Volleyball in Utah from ages 16-18. Each Year that she played for Club V volleyball, they were able to qualify for nationals. In her first year, they took 11th at nationals, and in her second year they were unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ellison played for Union High School (Roosevelt, Utah) her entire high school career. While playing for Union High School, she received first team all-state honors from 2017-2019. Her team won region from 2017-2019, and she was named MVP in 2019 leading her team to a State Championship title, the first one her school had seen in 40 years. Currently, Ellison is in her second year playing for the California State University Stanislaus volleyball team.

Ellison was an assistant coach for the 7–8-year-old age group at Club V in Utah. (2019) She helped run practices and learned from the head coach how to break down the skills in a way that a 7-year-old can understand. She was an assistant coach for UBVC for 12- and 13-year-olds. (2020 & 2021), and assisted in teaching, skills, helped run drills in practice, and kept stats at every tournament. Ellison was an assistant coach for Union High School the year after she graduated because the pandemic postponed her season at CSU Stanislaus. She helped all teams from Freshman-Varsity. While coaching, they were able to win another State Championship and went back-to-back for the first time in school history for volleyball. (The 2020-2021 school year). Throughout the years, she has done one on one training sessions with athletes, and helped break down fundamentals to improve their skills and overall play. Ellison is also very familiar with Hudl, Hudl Assist, & Volleymetrics to watch film and help our athletes improve.
